How to Wear Boots into Spring

A lot of times we associate boots with fall and winter. They come out to play for those few months between September and January (depending on where you live it may be longer), and then after that we say adios until next year. Well don't start packing your suede and leather babies up just yet. There are still so many ways that they can be transitioned into Spring.

A light weight dress with a floral print scarf is one of my favorite ways to wear boots in the spring. For a more Spring friendly version, wearing boots that are a brown or lighter color make them feel like you are ready for the warm months ahead.

Here are some of my favorite Spring ready boots:

Getting Glammed Up On A Budget

Every girl loves a good girls night out every once in a while, and especially getting glammed up for it! I think one of my favorite parts of getting together with girlfriends is putting together a new outfit, and fixing up my hair and makeup. Let's face it though, between buying that new top, getting our nails done, and maybe even tossing in a new hair can get expensive. So I wanted to share a few tips and tricks I've learned to still make you look and feel like a million bucks without having to spend it. More money to use on those martini's right?!

1. The Hair

Instead of spending hundreds on a new cut or fresh color at the salon, I like to take the DIY approach. This may scare some but let me just tell you, it is easier than you think. I head to my local Target and pick up theĀ  Keratin Color from Schwarzkopf in the shade Delicate Praline (use this to get $2 cash back when you purchase Keratin Color from Schwarzkopf and also look for the buy 2, get a $5 gift card offer in-store from 3/26-4/08! Keratin Color Ibotta Offer ($2 cash back)) I typically stick with a shade that is closest to my natural color and feel that is the safest route to go when coloring at home. My hair feels so much fuller, and the skin flattering pigments are really amazing! Best part is you will have salon worthy results in half the time!

2. The Look

No need to go blow this months paycheck on a whole new outfit. Try taking one of your favorite outfits in your closet and just mixing in one new item whether it be a new necklace, pair of shoes, or even a light jacket. I am obsessed with this jacket from SheIn and pastel bombers will be hot this spring (Under $25)!

3. The Face

One of my favorite ways to play up my makeup is with a different color lip. Try a bright pink or a fun pop of color to play up your outfit!

Do you have any budget friendly ways you like to prep for a fun girls night out?! I'd love to hear below!
