Fall is right around the corner, but that doesn't mean I'm packing up those denim cut off's just yet! Although those cooler months are approaching us quickly, I hear it won't actually get cold here in Houston until December/January, looks like my favorite pair of denim will be sticking around a little longer than usual. Fall is one of my favorite seasons. It is so much fun to shop for all of those new trending fall pieces and it can feel almost like a fresh start with your wardrobe. Everyone is eyeing that pair of booties that they want to invest in as their staple piece for the season, or they are stocking up on those knit sweaters. One of my favorite fall looks is an oversized chunky knit sweater with some distressed denim jeans and my favorite pair of booties, it's pretty much my fall uniform. This time of year it can be difficult though because we see all of those adorable fall clothes in all of the stores and want to buy them so bad, but realize it's still 90 degrees outside......i'm pretty sure none of us want to look like we fell into a swimming pool by the end of the day, am I right?! Don't fret though, you can still pick up those fall pieces and pair them with some of your favorite summer pieces to look fall ready but still comfortable in the heat.
For this look I actually took some of the pieces I have owned for a little while, & switched them up from a summer look to something a little more fall-esque by adding a blazer over this loose fit black and white striped tee. I added my favorite pair of denim cut offs to still keep things cool and bearable in this heat. Throw on some nude colored pointed toe heels to give that chic touch. You don't want to do a dark or too colorful shoe because it would be too harsh with this look but go for something more subtle in a neutral tone to finish it off & make those legs look like they go on for miles! Add some of your favorite accessories, I wore a simple long jeweled necklace but a chunky statement necklace would look FAB with this look, and you are ready for brunch, out on the town, or even a dinner date!
(I have owned a lot of these pieces for a while so the times I have tagged below are similar or almost identical to my outfit pictured)
