Dress & Earrings c/o - Front Door Fashion
I hope you are all having a sweet & spooky Halloween so far! I'm totally bummed that it is on a Monday this year because Halloween is one of my absolute FAVORITE holidays & I love getting dressed up for it. So since it is on a week day and unfortunately I have work tomorrow, (there should be a mandatory day after Halloween off day, just saying!), we are staying in and watching my definition of scary movies (not scary at all) and making some festive cookies!
I felt that this dress was appropriate for a Halloween day outfit post because I could totally throw this dress on with a witches hat & be set for a Halloween shindig!
The lace detailing on this dress is impeccable. I am obsessed with the high neckline and long bell sleeves that make this dress so elegant. If you haven't noticed, the top is a little bit see through in between the lace, but it gives you just enough coverage if you want to be a little more on the sexy side and not layer anything underneath. It also would look super cute with a bandeau to give you a little more coverage.
Side note that may be a little TMI (too much information) but I thought it was funny......So as you can tell I went for the edgier side with nothing underneath. A couple months back I tragically lost one of my pasties to the sweltering heat in Memphis, TN and it slipped off without me noticing. MAN DOWN! After searching and searching, the little chicken cutlet was never found and I have never gone to get new ones. So my next best option? Band-aids!
I literally threw on the first 2 band-aids I found and I guess didn't position one correctly so no, that is not a nip slip in my pictures. That is my pesky misplaced band-aid that is playing peekaboo for you all to see. Sorry guys no risque photos for you here!
Shop this lace dress, shoes, a bandeau for the more modest, and even some pasties below!
Thanks for reading guys and Happy Halloween!
