It never fails, every year when the temps start dropping and my summer wardrobe switches out for denim and anything knitted, I always get the urge to stock up on new sweaters for sweater season. Let me tell you, sweaters aren't cheap. Just 2 or 3 quality sweaters can cost you anywhere from $150 and up! Not saying I don't love a good quality sweater, but there are so many affordable options out there also that may look exactly the same but have a friendlier price tag. Since I switch out sweaters usually every year the season rolls around, I like to look for the less costly options so I can have plenty to choose from and not be eating Ramen Noodles the rest of winter.
This striped open knit sweater from Pink Shades by Kimberlyn is a current favorite of mine. The neutral color makes it easy to mix and match with different pieces and the open knit makes it breathable for these hot Texas winters. My go to fall uniform is a comfortable sweater paired with some distressed denim and booties. It's so easy to throw together and you will be comfortable/cozy all day!
