It's that time of year again. All of the sweaters and jackets have hit the stores, those booties in the back of our closets are screaming for us to take them out for a stroll, and I just want to paint my nails all of the fall hues. It really is a struggle. Especially when you step outside and immediately start sweating. So even thinking about attempting to wear that adorable new fall jacket is miserable. But don't worry, all hope is not lost. There are still ways to incorporate your fall wardrobe into your summer style. Transitioning into fall one layer at a time.
So I am sure you have heard or even shopped the Nordstrom anniversary sale going on and are ogling over all of the new fall styles. Stocking up on boots, filling up your closet with all of your new sweaters, and making sure you have endless options of denim to wear all season long. Guilty! So why wait to wear all of your new goodies until mother nature decides to give us the cold shoulder?!
One way I like to incorporate fall into my summer wardrobe is by mixing in lightweight pieces that are in fall colors, like this crisscross top I have on here. Pair this top with denim shorts or distressed jeans for summer. Booties or lace up flats like I have on here are also an easy way to transition into fall. These flats look adorable with denim or even with a summer dress.
My top, shoes, and bag are all part of the Nordstrom sale happening right now! Hurry and get yours before they are all sold out! The shoes in this color are almost sold out but I also love the blush color and they would be perfect for fall.
