What to Wear to a Summer Wedding

Dress [c/o] Just Fashion Now | Heels | Bag (similar) | Earrings | Watch

So what do you wear when you have to dress up for a special event but what to be comfortable and stay cool? Summer weddings always seem so tricky to me because you have to dress up and look nice, but are inevitably going to sweat off all of your makeup and be ready to rip off your fancy dress by the end of the night. One good thing about summer weddings is that they are usually pretty casual, so wearing your favorite summer dress and dressing it up with some heels and jewelry can be totally acceptable. This off the shoulder fuchsia dress is perfect for a hot and steamy summer wedding. Of course the off the shoulder neckline will keep you on the cooler side and will also show off that golden tan you are rocking, but the color is such a fun pop for summer. The fabric has a nice sheen to it that makes it a little dressier than cotton. Really make that dress pop by adding a neutral heel like this one and have fun with your accessories like I did with these fun tassel earrings. This dress is such a steal for only $31 and you can shop all of the pieces from this look at the links above!

The Perfect Summer Dress for Under $30

During the summer months, the first thing I look for in my closet to wear are lightweight summer dresses. I'd say probably 5 out of 7 days a week you will find me in a summer dress. They are so much easier to just throw on and feel comfortable in all day. Since I like to wear them pretty regularly, I like to stock up on different affordable options that I can keep on rotate. I recently found this dress and knew it would be one of my favorites for the summer. It has a loose and flattering fit, and the pop of color is perfect to show off that summer tan. I paired it with my favorite jean jacket and these Valentino dupe sandals (under $30) for a dinner date with my guy.

Hope you all have a great Monday!

The Trend You Need to Get on Board with - Off the Shoulder

One of the trends I can't get enough of is the off the shoulder trend. I find myself drawn to off the shoulder dresses and tops more and more whenever I am shopping. This trend is perfect for summer because it keeps you cool and can show off your golden summer glow too. This black OTS little number [c/o Shein] actually is a dress but can also be worn as a tunic tucked into a pair of shorts or jeans.

This dress/tunic looks so cute paired with a pop of color in your accessories, but I went for a more toned down look keeping with the black and whites. I am obsessing over these earrings right now and want them in every color!

So I thought we would luck out and have an easy home buying experience getting the first house we put an offer on, boy was I wrong. We unfortunately lost that battle but have found another one that we love even more so crossing our fingers that this one works out!

Have a great rest of your week babes!
