We may be closer to the end of March, but I wanted to start doing these monthly beauty favorites posts to share with you guys any new products that I have found and fallen in love with. I think we all have our basics that we keep in that colorful little cosmetic bag and know that those will never steer you wrong, but sometimes we have to branch out and try new things cause like they always say, "you never know until you try right?!".
Who knows if there is that amazing shade of lipstick that goes perfectly with your skin tone, a primer that will make you look like you just stepped out of the gates of Heaven, or even an eyeliner that won't leave you with raccoon eyes by the end of the day. So it is my goal to keep you updated with my favorites because they may become your favorites too!
This one is actually a newbie to my makeup fam and I was blown away by the way it looked and felt when I first tried it out. This stuff is AMAZING! It gives you the lightweight feel of a BB cream, but enough coverage to give you a flawless "no makeup" makeup look. It is soft to the touch and my skin didn't look oily by the end of the day which is crazy.
Looking for a soft peachy glow for Spring? Well this is it! I love the subtle hint of peach for the apples of your cheeks and then the highlight gives you that fresh spring glow. This blush and highlighter duo is perfect for all skin tones.
I love a nude lip. I feel like it gives you a fresh faced look and goes with everything. I tend to stick with matte lipsticks because I feel they give a more natural look. I wear the shade "Child Star" in this one.
This powder is such a steal and works wonders. I use this as a setting powder after I have applied my foundation to help with the oiliness in my T-zone. Wear this over the Pixi H2O Skintint and you won't have to touch your makeup all day!
For spring, I like to change things up from dark bold hues to light shimmery tints to give that fresh faced feeling. I love the shade 'Noir Or" in this stay proof eyeliner. It is a shimmery black/gold that is dark enough to give your eyes some definition without a harsh black line.
How are you transitioning your makeup from winter to spring? I'd love to hear in a comment below!
